September is my favorite month! And there are plenty of releases to be on the look out for. Here are some that I am looking to get!
Lecrae-Gravity-Reach Records: Yup the 6th studio album for this Reach Record and you may as well say CHH front-runner. Is anyone really touching Crae? I will say I was left a little underwhelmed with “Church Clothes”, so my excitement isn’t that high for “Gravity”, but I’m getting it anyway, so…
Deon Kipping-I Just Want To Hear You-Verity Records: Having penned some of the biggest gospel songs ( Incredible God, Praise Him In Advance), Kipping is coming with his sophomore release. His singles are gaining airplay on gospel radio and I’m ready for more!
Lexi-Phenomenal-Malaco Records: Recently signed to Malaco Records, this jack-of-all-trades woman is releasing her next album. With a hot single “Burn It All Down” in rotation on radio, I’m ready to hear more from this funny lady, who I sometimes forget, is an amazing singer as well!
Erica Cumbo-Beauty For Ashes-CAJO Records: I’ve been waiting on Erica Cumbo for the LONGEST!! This chick be on every bodies record. Finally she’s coming with an album all her own!! I’m more than ready! Love her unique style of singing and rapping. This will be a dope record.
Le’Andria Johnson-The Experience-Music World Gospel: I have the privilege to listen to the album and I can never put into words why I like Le’Andria Johnson. This album is perfectly titled because you have to experience Le’Andria for yourself and get into all that she pours out! This woman SANGS! I’m so happy that she’s stayed the course through all her career has brought her.
Jor’Dan Armstrong-Stronger-Jor’Dan Armstrong Music: After releasing one of the BEST mixtapes this year, Jor’Dan Armstrong returns with his sophomore album “Stronger.” I love the eclectic sounds found on the mixtape, so I’m expecting more of the same from the album, a little more polished, but certainly great music accompanying lyrics that chase after God’s heart!
Jonathan McReynolds-Life Music-Light Records: He came and took the gospel industry by storm with his very self convicting song “No Grey” and then he hit us with “I Love You.” This young man is bringing a realness to gospel music that a lot of young adults are looking for. It’s gonna be awesome to watch Jonathan soar!
