Tyler Perry is Alex Cross-New Movie Role

Not to be defined by what anybody thinks or says, Tyler Perry steps out of the directors chair and dives into a new acting role, revamping the character Alex Cross (previously made famous by Morgan Freeman). I am happy and very excited to see Tyler in this role!  I’ve been waiting for Tyler to step out of his normal Tyler Perry-ness and give me something different! You go Mr. Perry!!!! The film also stars Matthew Fox who looks like he’s going to be doing a superb job!!  The film is due to release October 19, 2012.  Check out the trailer below.  Will you be going to see the new Alex Cross movie?
